TC Paw Cat Rescue was formed in the Spring of 2023 after the well-known northern Michigan rescue group AC PAW retired their rescue program for cats and dogs. Many existing volunteers wanted to see the rescue of cats and kittens continue. Experienced volunteers assist in rescue, rehab, and adoption. TC Paw is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) serving the greater Traverse City area.

We provide a second chance to cats that have been abandoned, found as strays, or surrendered by their owners. With assistance from local veterinarians, we work to create the best outcome for all animals and nurture the human-animal bond through careful placements, assessing and thoughtfully addressing animal needs, and considering the health and safety of both animals and our community.

Our cats and kittens are in foster homes and receive appropriate vet care while waiting for their forever home. When the animal is healthy and ready to begin a new life, it is ready for adoption!

Celebrates 1st anniversary

On Sunday, April 21, 2024, we celebrated the first anniversary of our rescue! The celebration included many of our dedicated volunteers. Thank you to everyone, including those who couldn't be there in person. Our volunteers make a difference in the lives of so many cats and kittens!
